We spend 2 nights here after a long international flight, and can only recommend it. Great location to explore L.A., plus close to the beach. Several good restaurants in the proximity. Both our rooms were comparably large and clean, with a very classic motel feel. Management and staff were extremely friendly and helpful: When we arrived, the on-site parking was already full, so we parked on the street and the manager offered to move the vehicle in the early morning when street cleaning was scheduled. Which of course was much appreciated! Overall, we would definitively stay here again!
Very clean and updated budget motel located in a nice area of LA. It appears to be family run affair and all were really nice and pleasant. While the room was small it was very clean and tidy and the bed was really comfy. There is a bit of traffic noise from the road but not enough to stop you from sleeping. Would definitely stay here again if in Los Angeles.
Full disclosure upfront - Admittedly I'm a but used to accommodations a bit more upscale but have never met a more impressive gentleman than Seaside Motel's operator, Kay Patel (and please excuse if name/spelling incorrect.) His professionalism & courtesy saved me both time & money and his patience - during my stay I bothered him all hours of both day & night but he never seemed either annoyed or drowsy (when does he sleep?) - impressed upon me how I myself should interact with others. Thank you sir.
On our last trip we Stayed one night in a nice, clean and very spacious room on Seaside Motel. It is also very close to the ocean, less than two miles. Me and my wife are planing on our next travel time to take more time to enjoy this nice Motel and the ocean at Redondo Beach. I highly recommend to other people to try it.
I was happy with my stay here. It is family owned. There is a supermarket nearby and also Gulianos Italian market for sandwiches. The beach is a few blocks. The only drawback is not enough parking. If you come in late you'll have to park on the street.
Description: Good motel with free parking Reception:distant and unfriendly Room size: more than sufficient with kitchen and fridge Bathroom: modern and clean Hygiene: very clean Location: atmosphere of seaside resort Value for money: great value Score (1=poor;10=extraordinary) 9
The rooms were simple and very clean, the manager was excellent - very friendly and always happy to help. Self-service laundry on site if you need. The location was fine, with restaurants nearby and the airport a 20 minute drive away. Just be aware it is not particularly near the beach (a 40 minute walk or 10 minutes by car).
First off, we were upgraded to a "suite" (kitchenette) for no extra cost. The rooms are clean, like new, the staff friendly. They never claim to be oceanfront or "Seaside". We had no problem with the parking, but in the high season, I could see it. Only downside was a little noisy in the morning due to traffic, garbage truck, vacuuming... All in all, a bargain in Redondo.
